QUESTION:

This is F*** contacting you from London. My mother recently lost her vision as result of laser therapy conducted on her eyes while she had advanced Glaucoma. I am interested to know if there is any treatment available to help recover minimum vision.

ANSWER:

I am afraid that there are no currently proven methods of restoring vision lost from glaucoma. Although exciting developments are occurring in the laboratory these are still many years away from being used to restore vision to humans. I am sorry I could not provide more encouraging information.
