Thousands of Cataract Procedures Done. Thousands of Happy Patients.

Don’t just take our word for it. Here are some of Dr. Richardson’s patients. Hear what they have to say about the quality of care they have experienced. There’s over a hundred of them on our YouTube Page: Cataract Surgery Patient Stories on YouTube. But here are some for your viewing pleasure…

Cataract surgery with Toric Intraocular Lens

My name is Steven, I like to get around I like to try and exercise…I have both of my eyes worked on to remove the cataracts seven or eight years ago…I have always wanted to be able to wake up in the morning without having to put contacts or glasses on and I chose the Toric lens…I’m very happy about how everything has gone. And my vision, its been great! I would recommend him in a heartbeat…

Cataract surgery with Alcon ReSTOR multifocal IOLs

My name’s Pam. And I’m a former school administrator. I came to Doctor Richardson because I went to four other doctors and they said they would not operate on me because I had LASIK surgery…I feel like he listens to me. And I feel like he cares and I feel like the staff is very receptive to my needs. So, I couldn’t be happier. Not only that he’s the only surgeon I could find who knew what he was doing and could do what I needed done!

Cataract surgery with Crystalens IOLs

I’m retired now. I was a college professor. Reading was always so important to me so that’s why it’s important that I have good eyesight now in my retirement because that’s my main hobby – it’s to continue my reading and my studies…So, here I am in my 70’s and I’m seeing better than when I was a small child so that that’s been a real plus. I mean, my vision is so much better now.

Finally, a doctor that actually makes eye contact with you. He explains things in plain English. Stays in room until he has answered all of your questions. I’ve recommended him to my family and friends. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I love the little fridge with cool water for patients.

A book about cataracts for people with cataracts. No medical jargon!

Read before you have cataract surgery | This book will be of great help to those contemplating cataract surgery. It helps the patient understand the process, what to look for in their surgeon and what questions to ask. I recommend it. I was not aware of this book until after my cataract surgery, but that experience enables me to judge the book from a unique perspective. Been there, done that! You might wonder why someone who has had the surgery would read the book, well, one can never know too much and I needed to understand something that occurred during my surgery. This book gave me the answer
